Hand Washing
Our hand washing
program consists of workshops and resources for children that teach
proper hand washing. Hand washing is a simple but highly effective
way of preventing the spread of many diseases and reducing exposure to
potentially harmful substances.
Teaching proper hand
washing to children is very important. Children play, crawl and touch
people and objects. Small children also pick up objects they find on
the floor and put them into their mouths. For this reason it is
important that young children are either able to wash their own hands
properly, or have someone who can help them with hand washing,
especially after certain activities such as playing outside or using
the bathroom.
Our hand washing superhero –
Mighty Bubble - is featured on all
our hand washing materials and will be appearing at workshops and
events in Flin Flon and Creighton in 2011 and 2012. If you would like
more information about where you might find Mighty Bubble, please
